fix it yourself!

The manuel is worth the price for just one or two tips you might pick up when you need to do repairs.

Well written manual

Manufactured housing repair and maintenance is substantially different from standard housing. It is very difficult to find information regarding good repair for a manufactured home. This manual is well written, straight forward and easy to follow. The manual is broken down into the specific...

The Manual for Manufactured/ Mobile Home Repair and Upgrade

Some of this book uses standard carpentry skill's that you would use in any home. But it has ALOT of imformation that pertains solely to Mobile/ manufactured homes. The chapters on "belly repairs" and repairing that soft spot in your flooring alone is well worth the price of the book. It is...

Not for the Less-than-knowledgeable

It is a decent book with much information, but it is not as detailed as I was expecting. The author does not explain many of the repairs or the "how-to's" but just assumes that you know how to do them. For example, to replace a toilet cut out the flange and put a new one in. But how? He doesn't...

Good info but ....

We found the information very useful, however, very disappointed in the "manuscript" construction(I wouldn't call it a book) considering the extremely high price. Don't expect this to hold up for any lenghth of time to use as a reference manual due to poor quality (such good information deserves...

Helpful book.

I am glad I bought this book. I found the information to be accurate and simple to understand. The book could have had more projects and pictures for the money spent. Overall, I would recomend it.

Not worth the price they're selling it for

This book has very good pictures and detailed instructions, but is basically something you could put together at any copy store. It has the plastic ringed connector, and looks like a paperback manual someone copied for me. It definitely isn't worth the new price of $39.95 and still not worth...

Best - much better than Foremost's book

I ordered the Foremost book first because of the reviews. It is simplistic & disapointing. Then I ordered this book, I'm very impressed. I wish I had bought this book first. If you need to replace an underbelly this is the book for you. Lots of other wonderful information too. Thanks, Mark Bower!
