Great for quiet spaces
I use these every day at my place of work. They're easily audible (run from an iPod) in the quiet room. I am getting another pair for listening to audio from my Palm when I'm at home.

Disappointed!
I got the speakers for the laptop. I was hoping for better sound. The quality of the speakers is such, that I get better sound from the laptop itself. They may be good for other things, but definitely not for my laptop.

Sony SRS-P7 Speakers
These are great looking, lightweight and connectible. However; I must be missing something. There is no volume control on the speakers themselves and although I have connected to an IBM laptop and a Sirius radio .... there is scarcely enough volume
PROS: Great looking, lightweight and connectible for easy portability.
CONS: No volume control on speakers. When plugged into source, minimal sound output when volume maxed.
