Review of Altec Lansing VS4121 Speakers
I would definitely recommend this system to people looking for a good priced speaker system for their mp3 player, video game system or computer!
PROS: These speakers are pretty awesome for the price. I bought 2 sets. One for myself and one for my Dad for Christmas. They got powerful base and crisp highs too. The midrange is pretty good, but sometimes you'll have to crank down the base if your listening
CONS: Can't really think of too many bad points at the moment. Perhaps if they came out with a more powerful amplifier you could shake the neighborhood instead of just your room!

The worst customer service I've seen
The main cord from the computer was ruined by my dog. I tried to get a new one and began my trip down customer service hell. The website has almost nothing of assistance. I couldn't even get an installation diagram. Contacted customer service and the

PROS: For the price it's darn good. You can't beat it! Easy to hook up (headphone jack).

Very impressed and pleased with the sound quality on these speakers. Unbelievable quality for the low, low,price. Could not be happier with this product and would recommend to everyone.

These are a great value!
I bought these for work and liked them so much I bought a set for home. I love music and generally speaking I love it loud. These speakers surprisingly sound great even when cranked (bass is strong). I had Bose speakers hooked up to my pc...
PROS: great sound, easy setup, very affordable
CONS: none that I encountered

Very nice
Very nice speakers. Had a 2-piece Altec Lansing set before and it just didn't cut it in the volume and bass. These are incredible, especially since staples had them on sale for 20 dollars the day after thanksgiving, wish I would have bought two sets!
PROS: Incredible bass, clean sound.
CONS: Bass can keep up people in the house ;)

Good Price/Good Quality
For the price these are great speakers. They can get loud with low distortion. Down-directed mids work well on my "wood" desk.

Great buy...
After reading reviews from several different systems, I opted for this one. And I am so glad I did. Everything from Floyd to TOOL, NWA to Akon, Enya to whatever mood music you want to listen to is great. It even gets pretty loud too...
