The burly Kelty Eagle 7850 combines heavy-hauling capability, organizational options and maximum access for four season performance. Modular design allows you to modify the set up of the Eagle 7850 depending on the situation. An adjustable suspension system caters to torsos ranging from 16"-22" in length. The Eagle 7850's twin aluminum stays work in tandem with an HDPE framesheet and Spacermesh backpanel to offer strength, stability and comfort. A two-layer padded waistbelt, quick-release shoulder straps, load-lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap further enhance the fit of the Eagle 7850. Kelty's patented Scherer Cinch uses a pulley-like system to double the tightening force on the waistbelt, helping you keep more of the weight on your hips. Side compression straps and an integrated spindrift collar offer adjustability for varying loads. The Eagle 7850's cavernous packbag and multiple large pockets provide a full 7850 cubic inches of storage capacity. Top-loading and front panel loading access points allow you to put hands on gear in a moments notice. A zippered divider between the upper main compartment and a front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the packbag to a single, large compartment. A zippered internal mesh wall keeps gear from spilling out when you access the packbag through the zippered front panel. The Eagle 7850 also includes two large, removable side pockets. The top lid of the Eagle 7850 has zippered access to internal pockets. The lid can be removed and converted into a lumbar pack or a shoulder-strap pack organizer. When the lid is removed, a secondary low-profile hood is revealed to protect the interior of the Eagle 7850 from the elements. A rain/sand pack cover is also included for further protection. Twin exit ports and reservoir sleeves make the Eagle 7850 hydration system (sold separately) compatible. The Kelty Eagle 7850 is available in your choice of Desert Tan or Coyote Brown color options.
