Your child can use it up until their adult years! - In fact, who wants to spend all that money and later have to give away their baby-gear to the salvation army or hand it down to the next generation, when you can keep this chair all throughout life. Formerly the Kinderzeat, the new Tripp Trapp now has a removable five-point harness that provides extra security and enables your little one to start using the chair as soon as he or she can sit upright unassisted (usually age 6 to 8 months). You'll be amazed at the simplicity of this innovative wooden chair, with an adjustable seat and foot rest that allows your child to sit comfortably at any height without having to dangle his or her feet. Use it with the optional baby rail and it can substitute as a high chair, pulling right up to the dinner table for mealtime
