This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

From: Amazon Posted: Jul 06, 2008 Type: User Review Omron HEM-637 Wrist BP Monitor

A friend had purchased an earlier version of the Omrom BP monitor. I used it and wanted one like it. The monitor has a few more features than the older model. It appears to 'read' BP accurately. I tested it against an arm band electronic BP...

From: Amazon Posted: Jun 22, 2008 Type: User Review Easy to use, consistent readings, but inaccurate

This wrist BP monitor is easy to use, with clear digital readouts. Gives consistent readings but when compared with BP taken with a cuff and stethoscope at the Dr.'s office, the numbers were about 20 points high (both systolic and diastolic....

From: Amazon Posted: Jun 16, 2008 Type: User Review Blood pressure monitor

From: Amazon Posted: May 25, 2008 Type: User Review Merry-go-round

The first one did not work so Amazon sent a second. The second did not work (meaning inaccurate readings) so contacted the manufactured who sent a call tag and then shiped it back saying it worked within specifications. If specs are 15-20 points...

From: Amazon Posted: May 21, 2008 Type: User Review It wasn't accurate for me.

I followed the directions precisely and always received readings a good 20 points lower compared to my pharamacy's and doctor's blood pressure readings. I'm not sure why it didn't work for me, but I returned it.
