Very Poor - Don't t even try them out

These are not good retractable headphones. To start with, they are the big flat foam covered "buds" that don't fit in your ear, the ones that just sit against your ear and fall out with the slightest move. The sound quality is fine, if you can get them to stay in.The cord is also very short....

Bad.

I bought this so that my wires would not tangle on the run, but the cord is too short and I'm only 5'4" . When I have my mp3 player in my pocket, it would not be able to reach my ears. The covers on the earbuds are scratchy and the sound is horrible. Don't waste your money on this.

I love them!

I've had these for a few weeks now. They work great, and sound great. I use them to hear talk radio over the internet, and music on my computer and ipod. No more tangles and everything is MUCH NEATER! I'll be buying another pair for myself soon.

Worthless

Within 30 seconds of getting the headphones out of the clambshell packaging, I had already broken the winding mechanism. (My mistake: pulling on one side of the winder without simultaneously pulling on the other side.) My husband used some tools to reset the wires on the winding mechanism and...

would not buy again

I usually don't write reviews, but this product had a couple of shortcomings I thought should be mentioned. The sound quality is decent, however the following are dealbreakers for me....1) The cord is not long enough- when fully extended, it is only about 31", not enough for me to have an ipod...

Not impressed with these headphones

These work ok for what they need to do. The sound is ok but not stellar. I like to listen while I run so I took the metal clip and hooked it onto the white winder for the cord. Otherwise it slings back and forth when I run and my earphones fall out. The cord does not wind up easily, and 2 days...

Okay for Music Player Use - NOT for Exercise Machine Use

The earphone cord is short and thus when you plug into the port on Exercise machines (Elliptical trainers,etc.), to listen and watch tv, you may have a problem if you are over 5' 8". You will have to stoop or adjust your position on the machine. The sound is good for music player use

So far, so good

I've used these headphones for a few weeks when commuting (by train, not car) and so far they've worked great. I agree that the retractor itself should have a clip on it, as it does bounce and swing (so I wouldn't use these headphones for jogging or heavy exercise), but for walking they are fine....

Great replacement headset

I purchased this headset to replace my retractable Macally one. This headset requires that you pull both ends to extract evenly. Used properly, it's fairly reliable, with decent sound quality. Not for use with desktops that sit on the ground, as the cord measures only 32" from jack to earpiece....

Too Short

Everything about these buds are average. If you're looking for something compact these buds will work. I'm 6ft. and wear my mp3 player on my belt the length of the speaker wire is to short for that.
