"not compatible with LG HDTV"

I like Panasonic products, they are easy to use, have good features and very durable. So, for a Blu-Ray player I purchased the DMP-BD30K with my new LG 47LG50 TV and discovered a defect when the player was hooked up via HDMI on all 3 ports of my TV.
