Music that makes you feel good
Music critics seem to only love bands who write about the dark side of life. There are bands who are universally praised by critics, but if that's all I listened to I'd probably become depressed and suicidal. They have brainwashed us into feeling guilty if we like music that makes us happy and...

What others aren't say about Bowling for Soup
Are Bowling for Soup funny? Yes. Are their songs dripping with anthemic hooks? Yes. Are they "laugh out loud hilarious". Undoubtably. Are they punk-pop? Possibly. Are they power pop? Most definitely! What nobody else here is saying is that while they are all of the above, they are one of the most...

New BFS is pretty good.
Pretty good BFS stuff. New lighter fare, but has the definitive sound of BFS. It's different enough not to be stale though. Still, Drunk Enough... is still my fave.

Classic BFS
If you like Bowling For Soup's previous CDs you'll like this one. Witty lyrics and a pop-punk beat make up the newest addition to the BFS world. And if you get this CD just for the lyric insert it will be worth it ;-)

Trying to explain the title to the shop assistant was tough...
The Great Burrito Extortion Case marks Bowling For Soup's sixth album to date and in my opinion its one of their best. On the new album, the guys of Bowling for Soup are just having a good time singing and joking around all to a pop punk beat. The music is definitely not for everyone but if...

It's BFS...of course it's amazing!
As their 9th studio release BFS couldn't have hoped for more out of an album. There are so many songs that could be radio releases on this new album that I don't know how they decided to choose High School Never Ends as a starter. Buy this album, buy this album, buy this album. I can't say...

Entertaining and easy to listen to
I don't know if I agree that Bowling for Soup is the "funnest band" I've ever heard (as their promotional materials state), but their music is catchy and easy to listen to. There are more "hooks" in the first cut on this CD than a lot of bands have in an entire career. Bowling's sound is quite a...
