About 6 months after purchase, unit failed to be recognized. Sent in for repair, they sent back a refurb, which failed same way after 8 months. They wouldn't replace drive. Stay away!

have tried on 2 computers (XP and Vista). XP computer locks up; Vista computer has been sitting here for hours not responding and a reboot has it forever in logging off mode. Very disappointed.
