Crashed disk

Great Drive, Very, Very, Very Quiet
I just purchased this drive and I cannot understand the reports that this drive is noisy. I think the noise must come from the enclosure vibrating and not from the drive.

I installed this drive three weeks ago and so far so good. The software provided by Seagate is good but didn't help me with transferring my system from my old drive to the new drive. The software does not support dynamic disks.

5 stars but be careful that you get what you paid for
Bought four of these to use in a RAID. All four of the boxes had PN: 98D648 - 550 on the box. When I installed one of the drives it was smaller than the others. PN on smaller drive's label was 98J146 - 308 and it was called a Barracuda...

I got one of these drives, for about 30 bucks cheaper than Amazon has it here, and it is a bit loud, but other than that, not a single problem at all.
