First drive failed Diagnostics. Second drive from WDC, not the Vendor, was DOA (Drive was referbished, and just off the (re)assembly line. If you yell loud enough, WDC will swap out a NEW one not another referb. As they say, Third time is a charm....

PROS: Green is good
CONS: Takes a loooong time to format. Also takes a ridiculously long time to back up - if I knew this I wouldn't have bought it. My other external hard drive backs up quickly and I don't even have a lot to back up! 60 GB

Yeah it's a cheap drive, but at only 5400 RPM it will be slower than the non-green 7200 RPM drive. Also USB transfers are very slow, you will want the ESata connection, which does not have a cable included, so add that to the cost. Finally, my Vista
