"Firewire version is outstanding!"
I just bought the firewire version of this and it's excellent. It's MUCH quieter than the LaCie 40X burner I bought last year. It's much smaller too, but it is heavy. It's fast, quiet, and very reliable as I've had no troubles with it since I got it
