I like it a lot for the reasons noted above (Pros), and the fact that I can connect it via the 3 different cables. I also like the Anywhere Backup software because it automatically backs up files as you change or create them. My only gripe with that

PROS: Simple to setup and use, lightweight, very quiet, comes with WD Anywhere Backup software that's easy to use and runs in the background to keep files constantly up to date, connects via usb2, firewire, or eSata.
CONS: Initially difficult getting eSata cable (not supplied) to work, until I trimmed both ends of the cable to fit deeper into the WD HD and PC: since then no problems. Aso backup software won't copy files whose folders+file names exceed 260 characters.

+ Runs very quiet (USB, WinXP, NTFS formatted), no fan
+ eSata, Firewire 400, 800 and USB - although I have not had a chance to test the non-USB interfaces
