"WASTE OF MONEY- USE A MAP"
Mag support is terrible. Map update doesn't work. Support is India and they promise and don't deliver. Don't waste your money and buy something with online continuous map updates.
PROS: Portable unit
CONS: maps out of date/poor support/poor signal acquisition

I read many reviews before i decided to buy this product. One of the review said he has used mercedes and bmw navigation systems and this product is far better than all. It is absolutly lie. It is not even comparable to bmw or mercedes.This guy absol

"The maps are better than my Roadmate 700"
Magellan has a good concept, they just forgot to finish it. Consider: 1-Very accurate GPS mapping system 2-User friendly 3-Plays music 4-Shows pictures 5-Built in battery. What they forgot: 1-FM modulator so the music could come through the car stere

"As good as the maps it uses."
I do travel all over the USA for business and found that the maps are very outdated. Most metro areas that had road construction completed many years ago does not revlect these in the RM800 making it's navigation useless.
PROS: Easy to operate
CONS: Maps are about 10 years old
