Garmin FF140 Fish finder with Transom Mount Transducer
When seeing your targets clearly is the goal, the Garmin Fishfinder 140 marine GPS is the one tool you need on your next fishing expedition. With 240 vertical pixels on a four level grayscale display, you get better separation and contrast so you'll know exactly where you're most likely to make the perfect catch. Like all of the new Garmin fishfinders, the 140 features Ultrascroll for fast screen updates, which is ideal for speed-based applications. This system also has a minimal amount of buttons and offers intuitive operation, so you'll spend less time learning how to use the Fishfinder 140, and more time reaping the fishing rewards. You won't even have to leave the sonar screen to change settings, thanks to a convenient adjustment bar. Designed to give you fast and clear information when you need it, the Fishfinder 140's new sounder design features excellent shallow water performance, including a patented transom/trolling mount, dual-beam transducer with user-selectable narrow (14 degrees) or wide (45 degrees) views to help you see more fish in shallow water, while the automatic display re-scaling on range change means no more vertical lines obscuring your readings. For added convenience, the power down backup feature ensures that your settings will not be lost when the unit is turned off. The Fishfinder 140 offers additional features, including a 2X and 4X automatic and manual zoom, 600 foot depth, and technology that shows weak and strong returns simultaneously, that make it easy and fun to find the perfect catch. And thanks to alarms for fish size, shallow water, deep water, and low battery (so your Fishfinder will never suddenly run out of power without warning), you'll have an informed advantage that will pay off in better fish stories than ever before. What's in the Box Fishfinder 140, transom mount transducer with integrated power cable, mounting bracket with tilt/swivel, and owner's manual. more

Great Garmin Gear
This is by far the best fishfinder in the price range. This is a VERY durable product, I love the low energy comsumption. I found it pretty straight forward to use and don't need to carry the manual around. The resolution is good, screen is viewable in daylight and the readings seem accurate. It...

Best Value-EZ Mounting
I previously sold and installed marine electronics so I know the Garmin sells a good product. This product will last if you keep it out of the weather.

Great budget B&W fish finder
I purchased this a while back and was using it on my small boat for estuary fishing. I have since upgraded to a Garmin 300C color unit but I am having problems with getting a good reading from it. I am almost thinking of going back to the FF140! It has a nice large screen, good clarity and I had...

Better than expected
I didn't expect much for the price I paid, but was pleasently surprised. The screen is very easy to read, and the automatic features actually work without being fine tuned. Far and away the nicest feature about this unit is the dual beam transducer. It has great accuracy not only under the...

Garmin Fishfinder 140
For the money, this fish finder works great. Installation is fairly simple. The lead wire could have a plug-in so as to be able to run through installed wire chases.

NOT a GPS! Good fishfinder
This is a very good fishfinder and depth indicator. But despite the name....IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GPS!This is just a fishfinder.

Needed portable..
Depth finder is excellent, easy to use, fine picture; temperature reads about 3 degrees low. Neeeded a portable, unfortunately didn't know Garmin offered this option until I saw it in the instructions! With a little improvisation and some leftover parts from my last depth finder, I made it...
