great book - old edition printed 2004

come on guys this book is now 5yrs old!I bought it thinking it was new; - wrong!Great book - good maps/info; they used to update these every other year so now I have 2 old books.......

A Great Guide for Country to Country

Fodor's Europe holds a great number of useful information including detailed maps of each country in a small package. These come in handy in figuring out how to get around country to country with different means of transportation. The information on where to rent vehicles or take public...

needs much improvement

Although the guide is full of information, much of the information given needs an update (one hotel we stayed was listed as 4-stars, I would hate to see a 1-star). The details given , as well as the included maps, leave a great deal to be desired.
