PROS: Multiple pasteboards a plus for those who think an illustration program is better than for page layout than Indesign or Quark. Blob brush is pure genious! Tabbed windows (as per all other CS4 products).
CONS: Resource hungry... Slow to save multiple page documents, especially if you have applied graphic styles (such as shadows, et al). Crashes without warning while saving document - crash notification notable, though don't expect a response.

PROS: Nice user interface if you liked CS2, because it doesn't leave you as stranded as previous versions because it has a lot of buttons on the screen that you can use to access toolbars from the windows menu, (toolbar windows), also you can calapse them.
CONS: Just has the same features as CS2, even CS4 is the same - only difference is Photoshop CS4 has a 3D feature for creating basic shapes that revolve in space, although that is not what it is meant for 'PHOTO - shop'.
