Disappointing routing.
I purchased the Z2 first and foremost because it's a navigation system with hands free voice command capability, BUT in the navigation and voice command departments the Z2 is very disappointing.
PROS: Large screen, powerful amp, ipod interface, hard drive.
CONS: Poor routing, weak maps, poor voice contrl, no mp3 storage.

Great Nav/Media System
Easy to use - multiple nav modes - very clear graphics. Installation done by Firedogs was looks factory installed well worth the cost.

Pretty Good Product....
The AVIC Z2 turned out to be pretty good for me. The Bluetooth works well and so does all the other features. I use the navigation a lot since I'm on the road so much. There are many pros and cons to this product. Pros... -Navigation Directions -Maps

I had the z1 and had to upgrade to the z2 for much better map description the bluetooth is awesome with it. i use xm and my ipod with it and u couldn't ask for a much better unit. the only thing i can't do is play my videos off my ipod on to it doe

Not a Fan
Although the AVIC-Z2 came highly recommended (by our salesman), the system has been TOTALLY disappointing. The system was installed in our vehicle in June 2007 and we have already had the unit replaced 3 times. Currently, the unit permanently reads
