If you want a GPS device as elegant as the car you’re driving, look to the Panasonic Strada CH-GP50U, a jet black beauty that’s loaded with style. While this model has some shortcomings, especially with its POI database, it offers great navigatio

Thanks Amazon
I've bought this GPS from Amazon on May 22, 2008.Today is September 6, and I didn't receive it after 3.5 months of waiting. So do not bother trying to buy it, Amazon does not have it, and they wouldn't substitute it with another GPS, at least CSR from India told me.Thanks for nothing, Amazon!After...

I Should Have Thought Twice...
I should have thought twice but now is too late. I am stuck with this GPS unit. The only thing that is positive is the big screen, good resolution and viewable in most conditions. While navigating the display lags badly... almost a regular city block at 50 mph. At lower speeds the lag is less and...

Panasonic Strada CN-GP50U
User friendly, many user adjustments with great features. Well thought out with one shortcoming - POI's will hopefully be updated and include a broader base in the December 2008 update.

Solid premium GPS system, but software can be better
Like some others who bought this, I grew dissatisfied with my Garmin Nuvi which started to fall apart (through no fault of my own at all) after just one year. I bought this Panasonic a month ago and have used it in and around Boston as well as all over New York. Overall I'm happy with it, but...
