- "Piece of crap."
When I spent $2200 on this useless hunk of junk, I thought I was getting the state of the art, all-in-one head unit. Boy was I wrong. My $150 Garmin portable GPS is easier to use and more precise than the Pioneer Z1 - which gets me...

- "The Maps are Terrible!"
There are lots of nice features about this, but isn't the main idea to get from Point A to Point B? I live on Long Island, NY, and this has constantly brought me down dead end streets, showing that they are throughways. I'm not talking...

- "Just think ...."
Its a good thing there aren't many General Motors cars around.... just think of the PROFIT Pioneer could make if they had a 1.5 DIN version. Buyers wouldn't have to hack up and fiberglass their dashboard for a great installation.

When we got our first look at the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 head unit at CES 2006, we were impressed. The double-DIN in-dash system incorporates a 7-inch touch screen and brings in all the functions you would expect to see in a top-of-the-line...
