"I have not used this particular item but the 3.5" is very sturdy. I have a 4.3" from GPS name brand and it broke just opening the zipper so looking for a replacement and I like the quality of the smaller unit I thought this would be great with all the extra storage space since the smaller one...

"Not a great solution to storing GPS but the best I have found. Keeps the car neat and gives the GPS some protection. A bit bulky, but works."
