Highly recommended
One of the 90s Californian hair metal bands that capture my attention!!! It's pity that they have disbanded... Whenever I thought of Southern Californian glam metal, I will think of these Yankees alongside with GNR and Buckcherry...

Melodic rock supergroup
One of the last highly successful melodic rock groups of the 1990's, Damn Yankees was a supergroup featuring guitarist/vocalist Tommy Shaw (Styx), bassist/vocalist Jack Blades (Night Ranger), drummer Michael Cartelloni (Tommy Shaw's band) and guitarist/deer annihilator Ted Nugent.Musically, Damn...

WORTH THE PRICE
If a CD has at least three good songs its worth buying and this CD has eight. If you like Ted Nuggent and the rock from the 80's and early 90's you'll like this CD. If you like good music that is well crafted you'll like this CD. If you like rock bands that can sing you need to get this CD.

Anyone that rates this less then 4 stars hates Rock n' Roll!
This is still on of the best Rock n' Roll CD's out there. There is not a bad song on this disk or the follow-up "Don't Tread." These guys truly are a super group. Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades went on to make "My Hallucination" in 1995 witch is another great CD. Every true fan of the Rock Genre...

Supergroup Of The Early 90's
Wow has it really been 16 years since this album came out? Damn Yankees was a "supergroup" project that put together Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw (Styx), Jack Blades (Nightranger) and drummer Michael Cartellone for two albums of early 90's era heavy rock. The album spawned the huge hit ballad "High...

Good Stuff
Tommy Shaw, Jack Blades, and Ted Nugent join up here to form the supergroup Damn Yankees. And it is awesome. The raw talent talent showcased here is also a stickler too. Their other pursuits such as Shaw's Styx, Blades' Night Ranger, and Nugent's solo. These guys proved that the arena rock style...

Yeah I'll pay this one - 3.5 stars
A super group, Tommy Shaw, Ted Nugent, Jack Blades and Michael Cartellone. And it's pretty much worked! Ted brings out the redneck balls in his compadres and his more gunshy bandmates temper the Terrible Ted Motormouth Show.Critically panned at the time of the release and nobody took them...

VH1's "Supergroup", circa 1990
I am a fan of Ted Nugent's 70's output, but by the time 1990 rolled around, I had stopped listening. The same can be said of Styx and Night Ranger, both of which I listened to only casually. By the dawn of the 90's, this style of macho, slick hard rock with flashy intruments and laughable...

The Sum Is Definitely Better Than The Parts
Damn Yankees is the supergroup amalgamation of talented musicians from several high-flying groups of the `80s that find that in this case, the final product is better than it should have been. This self-titled debut from Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw (guitarist and one of the front men from Styx), Jack...

Cola music
Damn Yankees were an 80s supergroup featuring the "Motor city Madman" Ted Nugent, Tommy shaw (from Styx), Jack Blades (from Nightranger) and Michael Cartellone (from...er,Cleveland). HIGHLIGHTS:"Coming Of Age" is the big guilty pleasure here: unapologetically un-PC and darn near irrestible. (You...
