This book is an instant Classic!!

Stieg Larsson is a Genius!Book Review of "The girl with the Dragon Tattoo"First off, if you cannot stomach reading about graphic sexual abuse, then you should pick a book with some lighter fare. Having said that, this suspense thriller from the late Stieg Larsson will keep you on the edge of...

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

I loved this book. I selected it for a book club, and it's the most X rated book we've read in our 5 years as a club, however, it was fabulous!I would recommend it to almost everyone. Can't wait for the next book to come out this summer!

Hot new thriller by a tragically lost author

"The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" grabbed my attention because it was written by a Swedish author, Stieg Larsson, and deals with a complex journalistic story/dectective investigation/sex scandal set in Sweden. And since I am half Swedish, this was a slam dunk for me to buy. It turns out that...

Even if mystery isn't usually your thing, this is a must read for everyone.

I loved this book. As someone who's genre of choice is usually not mysteries, I was hesitant at first, but I literally could not put it down. It was one of those books that I was sad to finish because I knew it would be some time before I stumbled on something I enjoyed so much.

Vapid at the core

This book fails as a crime thriller/mystery on so many levels.1. Structurally vapid at its core. The trope of a great mystery-thriller is that the good must represent a worthy match for the evil -- here, the wonderfully drawn (sic) character of Lisbeth (the "good") is completely disappointed...

Intriguing plot and characters

This book was a great companion and medicine for my three days of bed rest. There are multiple subplots with interesting history behind them and not only the main but also supporting characters are very intriguing and add more layers into the main plot. My only disappointment is that there are...

I miss these characters!

I really enjoyed this book, I am a VERY busy person, teacher and mom of 2 and 4 yr olds, but then again who isn't. I have a hard time finding time to read novels, for fun. If I read a novel it better be good, I only watch about one movie per year, and it better be good too. Once I got into this...

Seroiusly Super Swedish Suspense

Sorry - I couldn't resist the alliteration in the title of this review. But I really love this book! I stayed up entirely too late reading it, but made myself put it down before finishing the last few pages. I don't want it to end! It's that good. And I'm enjoying the mental stretch of the...
