Beautiful
A Thousand Splendid Suns is one of the most beautiful stories I had ever read in my entire life. I believe women, especially, should pick this book up. It deffinetly opens your eyes and your hearts to the middle east and what that country's people...

American Women be thankful
This is a terrific novel. I think we need to read these types of books to understand the culture of certain arabic nations. It is also frightening to see just how fast the Taliban is taking over in some of those countries.

Splendid is right...
Like "Kite Runner," I just couldn't put it down. And, like "Kite Runner," when I was reading it I thought it was the best story I'd ever read. It's right up there. There's something about Hosseini's writing style--on top of the incredible stories...
