Golden Road
Album 2 for the Aussie transplant and former member of the Ranch kicks harder than his debut and fulfills Keith Urban's goal of capturing the elusive "band feel." The solid arrangements are particularly well tailored to Darryl Brown's ruptured romance ballad "You Think of Me" and the swampy "You Look Good in My Shirt." Urban catches fire lyrically on the moving "Song for Dad" and "What About Me," a cautionary view of selflessness he cowrote with Rodney Crowell. That, unfortunately, is as good as it gets. While the Ranch enjoyed a cult following, Urban, who should bring an idiosyncratic side to his music, is clearly out to play Nashville's game. Proof? A preponderance of bland material aimed at pleasing radio consultants and programmers. Consider his original "You're Not Alone Tonight," replete with harmonies used on countless country hits of recent past. True, a banjo occasionally surfaces throughout the album. Nonetheless, reviving David Dunda's 1976 Top 20 pop hit "Jeans On" reveals much about Urban's true musical roots. --Rich Kienzle Keith Urban Photos More from Keith Urban

You'll Think Of Me...Raining On Sunday
There are two terrific songs on this CD that I could listen to again and again. Raining on Sunday is a great relationship song about just taking time to be with the one you love instead of letting the real world catch you up and take you away from the most important person in your life. And...

Not a fan
I heard him on xm and I really loved one of his songs and then I listened to the album. That was the only decent song on there and then I realized he was from australia. Not what I was used to I guess. I tried listening to it a few times but it never caught me.

Keith Urban's finest
I have to say this one is my favorite Keith Urban album and it's got his most well known songs that skyrocketed his career into where he is right now. Hey the guy has got great guitar talent and melody! Listen to the guitars in "Somebody Like You" and "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me" - Urban's pretty...

Just delicious music
What can I say that hasn't been said better a hundred times? This is a fabulous album you just love to pop in and listen to as you play, drive, or hang out. It is so "listenable". There are great tunes you catch yourself humming as you go about your day. I love it.

A different kind of country
I just started to listen to Urban's music. I think that this disc is very good. He has a lot of fast paced tracks on the disc, but he shows you that he can sing a balid. Urban's music is a good mix of rock and country. He crosses between country and pop very well. gFor anyone who is just...

Upbeat feel good country...
Keith Urban can sing a ballad with the best of the country crooners, but I love him for his upbeat songs. Somebody Like You and What About Me are gems. You Look Good in My Shirt is a fun song that I love to crank up in the car and sing along to. Who Wouldn't Want to Be Me is a precious song to me...

One of my favorites
This has got to be one of my favorite albums ever. The different paces set by each song, the different moods they all have. You have some romantic ones "Somebody Like You", "Rainin' On Sunday", "You're Not Alone Tonight", some fun ones "You Look Good in My Shirt", "Jeans On", and some really...
