Wonderful music
Alan Parsons has been a favorite of mine since I first heard him 15 or more years ago. I'm not the age who buys much music anymore but when my daughter sent me a video with "Sirius" as background I had to have it. I ordered it from Amazon, it came when promised and I've put it on my computer so...

Better than ever
I'm a long-standing admirer of the Alan Parsons Project and bought all of the original albums on vinyl in the early 1980s, only to purchase (and enjoy) them all over again in their first transition to CD about ten years later. Now we're into remastered and extended-play territory for these albums...

Classic progressive rock
I have this album on vinyl. The chance to hear the remastered songs in digital format was great. This isn't their strongest album, but it does have a consistent theme. Both instrumental songs, "Sirius" and "Mammagamma" have been lifted by the corporate advertising over the years -- a testament...

Perhaps the best known APP disc...plus EXTRAS!!!
"Eye in the Sky", originally released in 1982, is The Alan Parsons Project's (APP) 6th album, and is perhaps their best known and their most highly acclaimed work. The original release had 10 tracks that reflect (at least to me) the traditional APP mix of instrumental and progressive rock music,...

Alan Parsons Project - At Their Commercial Peak
Parsons and company would reach their commercial peak with this album. It outsold everything else they had done before or since and was a huge hit. The leadoff instrumental "Sirus" is still used as the intro music for the Chicago Bulls and several other major league sports teams. The album had...

Eye in the Sky
There's a good reason why Sony chose this album & I Robot to be the first two albums by Alan Parsons to be remastered: These are his two best & they are the two best selling albums in his catalog. Alan Parsons gained fame by being the assistant engineer on Abbey Road (Beatles) & as engineer on...

Eye in the Sky
Eye in the Sky, their sixth studio album, is probably the Project's second best album exceeded only by I Robot. Eye in the Sky peaked at #7 on the album chart. One single, "Psychobabble" peaked at #54 on the chart. Another single "You're Gonna Get Your Fingers Burned" peaked at #22 on the singles...

Maybe, the best album from the Project
There is too many good songs in this album from 1981...specially Silence and I, Sirius -Eye in the sky, Pshychobabble and of course one of most beautiful ballads ever "Old and Wise" that make me cry always.

Eye on the cash register
What? Me worry? Of course, this is one of the better albums from Parsons & Company. If you don't already own it, you should. The 'remastered' album sounds identical to the original issue (and I listened to and compared the two CDs on very good equipment). The added cuts are of no interest, as all...
