The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Includes Four Swords)

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a retelling of the venerable series' first game with a quest for up to four players -- all on one cartridge. The game is a mix of action and puzzles where Link must travel between the Light and Dark worlds to rescue Princess Zelda. In the multiplayer game, Four Swords, between two to four players take on the roles of young adventurers who answer a challenge from the Triforce. They must brave the dangers of multiple dungeons in a quest to find the Master Sword. Their strength will be tested by fierce monsters, their wisdom tested by complex puzzles, and their courage tested by having to cooperate with each other to overcome obstacles.  more

Surprisingly fun

Some parts of the game are surprisingly tricky and oftentimes frustrating. I needed online help since I'm usually lousy at finding things. However, it's still a fun game that I had trouble putting down. There were many opportunities to interact with the environment, which increased as I found...

Games

Got this for my 6 year old grandson, since he was always taking his older brother's gameboy. Got him a Gameboy from Amazon (used) also, so he was all set to go and the big brother did not have to worry about his "stuff". Now they are both happy and can switch games when they want.

I have some fond memories of this game.

It is great to be able to play this game on a portable, handheld system. I am a college student; usually, to pass the time between classes, I pull out my Nintendo DS Lite and play some classic Nintendo games; as of late, the most frequently played game that I own is this one. I have all four of...

Its a 5 for its accuracy

This is a faithful reproduction of the original Zelda for NES. I'm glad that the people at Nintendo understnad there's a demand for these old games. At the same time though, I was afraid that they'd go around and 'update' them, which we all know is just another way of saying 'ruining' a good...

Great game!

I bought the game as a gift for my boyfriend, who is currently stationed overseas. He really enjoys playing it. The good thing is that it's not so difficult that you need a walkthrough, but not so easy that you get through it too fast.

Cool

I didn't know I would love Legend of Zelda since I am a tetris/mario/phoenix wright kind-of-girl. Anyway I start to fall in love with Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past as the game grows on me (with some help from the game guide). Cannot wait for Legend of Zelda: the Phantom Hourglass to come home...

A wonderful classic

While the original Zelda was great, this was the best of the line. Beautiful graphics for the time, very fun to play, challenging, funny. It is great fun to be able to play it again, and it is still quite entertaining.
