Monster Manual III (Dungeons & Dragons Supplement)
This supplement to the D&D game provides descriptions for a vast array of new creatures. Several design changes have been implemented from previous monster titles due to fan feedback. Each monster will now be illustrated, and each entry will now begin at the top of its own page. Both of these changes are meant to facilitate faster gameplay. There will also be details on how to include any creature in a Forgotten Realms? or Eberron campaign.

This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

Almost Perfect
I enjoyed this book greatly, but it had some flaws. First off, It didn't have information on how to turn most of these monsters into PCs. Second, In place it had said, "Cadaver Collecters in Ebberon". SOME of us don't stage our dungeons in...

Nice Monsters
This book has some pretty decent monsters, mostly for a higher level character, though. I'm a beginner, so I was looking for some lower level monsters, but they give a pretty good selection. This book would be excellent for a higher level...

Do we really need another MM from WoTC?
I bought the Monster Manual, and it ruled. Yes, I bought MM II, and it was cool. Now I get MM III, and I ask myself why I didn't just go to [...] and download some indie monster collections for a 1/3 of the price.

Things I love as a DM....
I love new monsters! Someimes it's hard when playing with a group of people that know every monster in the monster manual and exactly what its stats are to really surprise or intrigue them. That's why I love new monsters and the Monster Manual...

Holiday Gamer / Weekend Warrior
I just don't have the time that I used to, and my friends live all over, so I'm what you call a Holiday Gamer. I don't have all the feats memorized or monster strengths and weakness strategies fully understood. This makes it difficult as the DM...

Another solid chunk o' crunch from WOTC
Both of you who read all of my reviews know that I'm constantly harping on WOTC for having copy editors with a weak to middling grasp of the English language. For the price of a hardover RPG book these days, I do honestly expect perfection in the...

Great new critters
The new monsters in the MM3 are pretty well done. They tend to be higher ECL than average but the creatures are interesting. They are creative and well though out to be fun to run an run up against (well challanging to run up against if not fun)....

Depends on your game
I've only had a chance to look through this book so far, but I plan to buy. It passed my main test: one of my players thumbed through it in the bookstore and now dreads me getting the book because of what it will no-doubt put his poor character...
