Indispensable

A valuable addition to anyone's bookshelf, but an indispensable tool for an author's library.One complaint, and it's one I have with almost all reference books - the font is too small. How do you review a dictionary?

This is a great dictionary..of course, my old was was great too..but it was about 50 years old and so I decided it was time to upgrade. The binding on this one is exceptional and the cover seems nice and sturdy too. The definitions are..definitions, which is a good thing. Recommendable indeed.

Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary

Delivery was excellent and on time. Only problem I have is that days after I purchased this 11th Edition, the 12th Editon comes out. Still a great book and worth the price.

Indexing

The dictionary is a good one as usual. The index tabs are not exactly where they should be. Maybe they can not fix it because of limited space. Maybe Amazon can ask them.

Dictionary

The Best on the Market

Nobody puts out a better dictionary than Merriam-Webster. The Collegiate is my pick because one of my hobbies is the Over-50 Spelling Bee, and this dictionary is the reference source for that competition. The Elementary edition is what I use in my classroom. The Unabridged is what I subscribe...
