Deutsch Heute 8th edition

I have used this book for several years in my German 101 and 102 courses.Readers in comments above complain that the dialogue in the beginning of each chapter uses grammar not explained previously. The best way to teach each chapter is to explain all of the grammar of a particular chapter first...

One of the better foreign language texts

I too found this book to be excellent. There is indeed a lot presented and as with any language it is important to master the materiel prior to moving forward. This text was also selected as the German 101 & 102 text package for McGill University of Montreal.
