Viva el Becks
A photo-filled account of the highs and lows of soccer superstar David Beckham and his family?from the signing of the Real Madrid contract, and the tabloid frenzy sparked by his alleged affairs, to the birth of the Beckhams? third son. The day Manchester United announced it was selling David Beckham to Real Madrid marked a new era for the England Captain and his fans. Since the day "El Becks" landed on Spanish soil to begin his new career, top Spanish photographers Ramon Sandroman and Rolando Carde?oso have followed his every move. Viva El Becks offers a rare look at Beckham?s Spanish experience. It recalls the first frenzied months of his life in Madrid, Victoria?s decision to move to Spain full-time, how the family have rebuilt their lives in the wake of the scandals, and their joy at the birth of their third child, Cruz. The book also looks at Beckham?s efforts on the pitch to persuade Real Madrid fans that he?s more than just a media-made superstar.

Viva El Becks
This is decent read regarding the trial and tribulations of David Beckhams first few months in Spain,(and we should have the problems he had). But if you are trying to understand why this guys is so beloved, or why"football" is so important to Europeans then maybe you should take a look at this book.
