"S-l-o--w but solid backup"
I backup 2 GB of data, and it takes about 90 minutes on my REV drive. Tech support says maybe my server uses USB 1.1 and not 2.0. I don't know...I'll call HP support and try and find out. I got an idea yesterday, to try and backup to DVD: I backed up

There are cheaper ways to back up your data than with Iomega's Rev drive. Selling for just north of ??200, and with a 35GB cartridge disk coming in at around the price of a 40GB hard drive (just over ??35), it's an easy product to dismiss just on eco

"REV Internal SCSI"
The REV drive is nice, but does not seem to have been tested with a majority of the systems that could possibly be out on the market today.
PROS: FAST Backing up
CONS: Windows 2000 System becomes suspiciously unstable. System dump when this REV is accessed. REV drives need more testing.
