At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

"So so machine"
I got this one three years ago. It works OK, but the mechanical holder was broken within one year; the ethernet port refused to work within two years; the external microphone port never worked.
PROS: The basic functions are OK
CONS: bad quality

PROS: keyboard is comfortable
CONS: heavy, poor display quallity, slow

"Heavy, big, rip off battery issues"
I was asked before having a laptop what I'd like. I went for this with 1Gb RAM and the machine is fine. Hot on left side, great screen etc. But as a laptop, I'd missed the point that reading emails and using word does not require a big screen! I curs

"Dellisterrible because Dellisterrible"
I don't think any business owner can really trust a company that takes so long to respond, reply, react to problems with their systems. The D600 is a cheaply made poor heat dispersing system. That aside from the immediate problems, the heat buildup
