I must have at least 20 thumb drives from home to the office. This one does what it needs to do for me. Although, I would still love to have more space. So Next I will purchase the 8 gigs and see if that has the space I need. I do recommend this product to anyone who needs a thumb drive that is...

After 3 Weeks, This Drive Failed

I use flash drives to offload images to bigger drives that I backup. After I had just 2GB of photos on the drive, it quit working - no computer would read the drive. All 2GBs of work was lost. It's small size makes it hard to grab and pull out of you

Worst Flash Drive EVER!

Hello. 1 star is too much for this product. This product, the Lexar LEJDF4GB JumpDrive FireFly - 4GB Capacity, worked for about 3 weeks before it failed completely with about $3,000 worth of data loaded on it. I had just enough time to load it with data before offloading. I paid $27.50 for this...

Went through a wash cycle twice... all data 100% intact

I don't know what other people are talking about, sounds more like problems with their USB ports than anything else, because this baby rocks. Throughput is very fast whether on USB 1.0 or 2.0. And TWICE I forgot I left them in my jeans and they got tossed into the laundry... only to discover...

The best I've had

I bought one of these when I found it on sale. Once I got it, I went back to buy two more because these are so freakin' cool! I use them in my car, and to take music to work. When I went back to buy more, the sale was off and they were over twice the price. That's okay though, if you look...

no problems

I just purchased the lexar and I have read the other reviews and I have no doubt that they have experienced the problems mentioned. I purchased this one because I have others and found them to be a good buy. I use the flash drives for my picture frame and downloading pictures from my computer is...

Save your money

So Sloooooooooow

I really can't begin to describe how slow the transfer rate of the Lexar firefly is. The transfer rate makes it nearly unusable for anything but a few small files. It can take literally HOURS to transfer 500 MB if it is a bunch of small files you are transferring. It is a little bit faster with...

More "gadgety" than good

If you want people to be amazed, astonished, and a bit jealous of your flash drive, this is the one for you. Most can't believe that this (literally) small-finger sized drive holds 4GB.However, for how gadgety it is, it lacks in performance.First of all, it is not 4GB. It is 3.77GB. That's a lot...

VERY VERY Slow

High capacity (well, by Q2-2007 standards). Dispite some ads, seems to be a USB 1.0 A 1 gigabyte file took 30 minutes to load and nearly that long to delete. Think: Overnight, or at least Lunch. High capacity NEEDS high speed
