Combines modem and router and works fine
Bought this to replace an old Netgear 802.11b compatible router and Westell modem. Love having a single unit and you can't beat Netgear's easy setup. Wireless computer in another room gets a good signal. Overall, it works just fine for my needs.

There are many parallels between this superb home router and the equivalent Linksys WAG354G model. Both are tried and tested routers that have the ability to sit at the centre of your network for several years to come - providing you're not planning
PROS: Reliable Available at excellent price points Recently-refreshed model It's Apple White

intolerable latency issues with WiFi (WoW players take note)

Had to return - did not detect my DSL connection
My old DSL modem thinks my DSL connection is just fine (I live in the middle of town with PPPOA 1.5Gbps service). But my brand new DG834G does not light up when plugged into my phone line.
