Good investment
A great tool for tracking expenses and managing the household budget. It is easy to use. I would never use all of the extra features of the upgraded versions, so why pay for them? This version has all I need.

Can't transfer data
Well, they sure tricked me. I spent quite a bit of time searching for the 'basic' edition, and read the package, carefully I thought. My conclusion was that they had rename the basic quicken 2008 as 'starter edition', so I bought it in December. T

Save your hard earned money - do not buy this Starter Edition
As other reviewers have said, this item WILL NOT load your previous quicken files. Another $30 will get you the option. Can you imagine reloading 10 years of downloads and transactions? This is going back to Intuit for a full refund.
