No reason to upgrade.

I've been using Quicken for many years. I generally upgrade every two years to see what's new, so I went from Premier 2007 to 2009. I haven't seen any new feature that means anything to me, the UI is less appealing than the previous UI, and 2009 had an annoying bug that they just fixed in r3. In...

Satisfied Customer--So Far (Month & Counting)

I bought Quicken Premier 2009 for Windows because I wanted better features than I felt I was getting from the Mac version of Quicken that I was using (Quicken for Mac 2007). The migration of my Mac Quicken data to Windows Quicken was a bit arduous in terms of straightening out some data issues...

Great program after any minor issues are resolved

Quicken 2009 is a very good improvement over what I was originally using for the past 3 years (I'm upgrading from version 2006).1) Installation of Quicken 2009 went smooth, but after initially running the program, I kept getting Runtime errors (which automatically terminated the program). I...

Quicken Premier 2009...Some of the reviews are WAY off!

I have been astonished by some of the "reviews" I have been reading...I have been using Quicken since the very first DOS version in the 80s and I have been a beta tester for about 5-7 years. Beta testing IS all about finding bugs so that they can be addressed and FIXED prior to releasing the...

Don't believe the horror stories, it's about the same as Quicken 2006

This was a pre-emptive upgrade due to Quicken's sunset policy. I previously owned Quicken 2006 and was happily running it on Vista. The good news: it's just as functional as Quicken '06, at least for the features that I use (banking, investing, property and debt). The bad news: I had to...

Quicken 2009

Upgraded from 2006. A little harder to set up (then again I'm three years older). So far so good but slow. Still working on the display the way I want it. Some trouble downloading old data but I plan to call Intuit and get some directions. Only real fault is there is no manual that comes with...

Quicken - all I had hoped for

I got Quicken to replace MS Money. I had been told Quicken was a superior product. I agree although my version Money was very outdated. Quicken is somewhat easier to use and definitely has all the bells I need, plus many I do not use at the present. Overall, I am very happy with Quicken.

Very Helpful

It does more than we need, but some of the features will help us be better organized (per my wife, the real user).

1st time Quicken disappoints

I have been loyally using Quicken and upgrading every year since 1997. This year, I upgraded my Quicken Home & Small Business Premier to the 2009 version. WOW, what a mistake! First off, (we use this for business and have about 20 clients listed), accounts are NO LONGER listed in alphabetical...

HORRIBLE

Quicken 2009 is completely useless for downloading transactions. I, too, have used this product for years so I am familiar with it. The 2009 version doesn't accept my downloaded transactions at all, it doesn't even deny them, it just acts as if I had never downloaded at all. Very weird and...
