Easy setup and easy use!
This fax machine comes all complete. There is no setup. All you have to do is pull it out of the box and plug in the phone line. Once plugged in, this unit works great. I have not had any issues with it at all. It has a very intuitive setup...
PROS: Very easy setup and very easy to use. Works flawlessly thus far.
CONS: Number of sheets in the paper tray.

Error 71
We have had two Brother fax machines have the same errors. The error indicates to "Unplug unit, and call Brother" after calling Brother they refer you to an authorized dealer for repair which costs more than a brand new unit.
PROS: System boards
CONS: "MACHINE ERROR 71" comes up after using fax for a few years.

Great machine
We have had 4 machines for 3+ years, without a single problem. Brother hasn't changed anything about this machine in a long time because they did it right the first time. Great machine, highest possible recommendation.
PROS: Never any problems. Most reliable devices in our office. Fast, cheap to run (ink is very cheap compared to competitors). After 3+ years of use, not one call to tech support.
CONS: None.
