Absolutely no story here

This is one of the few books that I just could not slog through, no matter how much I wanted to. I purchased Book 1 and 2 at the same time, and did not finish this book, much less continue the series.I don't even know how many chapters I got through. I felt like I read 75 pages and all that...

This book was alright. Abby is boring and Dante sounds appealing except for the pirate thing. If I had not accidentally read the second book first, I would not have continued with the series although Abby and Dante's roles in the next books are much better. I say this is an okay starter book...
