"With the sure touch of a master" (Crescent Blues), Charlaine Harris delivers "the sort of vampire thrills that make Laurell Hamilton's Anita Blake novels so popular" (Locus). Love that Eric!!!!!

This book has everything you want. It's romantic, sexy and adventure. I LOVE how she put Eric in Sookies hands to keep him safe. How she just made Eric the most important part of Sookies life. I re-read this book AT LEAST once a month because when you are done reading it you are going to wish...

Favorite one in the series

This book so far is my favorite of the series. I guess I'm just an Eric fan. Bring on more Eric. Although he is written differently in this book I still enjoy reading about him.

The Sookie Stackhouse Series has taken on a whole new light!

I am at a loss for how to read this series. I did not enjoy the first in the series, way too much like paranormal romance. I given up on the series when I watched True Blood and immediately went and bought the rest of the series. The second in the series was considerably better and I enjoyed...

Oh, my!!!

I loved this one!!! It was really the most fun yet! Eric was just so much fun! And now there are even more werewolves and shifters - and witches! I can't imagine where this series is going! And I am certainly happy that Vampire Bill has taken a back seat role again. I am just so excited to keep...

Series Frontrunner

For some reason, this book read differently for me. I have enjoyed all of the books so far, but this novel had something different about it. I think it was the casual, meandering way that the book seemed to go. The plot was evenly paced and I absolutely loved the new Eric and hoped that...

Better Dead

DEAD TO THE WORLD is one of the best works in the Sookie Stackhouse series: you not only find out much of what was going with Bill and his nmaker Lorena in the last book (the spotty CLUB DEAD), but there's also a much clearer and more suspenseful storyline this time. The action is confined mostly...

Over the top

How many supernatural creatures can this author pull out of a White Wolf role-playing game to continue to grab interest? This is getting over the top... and silly.I have read all of these books (1-8 thus far) this summer. They are VERY light reading. They are easy going; not challenging in any...

This Means War!

Sookie and Bill are taking some time apart. Far apart. To Peru, apart. Its looking as though this separation may be permanent. It's New Years Eve and Sookie has just finished work. She was expecting to arrive home to an empty house, expecting to spend the next few hours sleeping in her safe warm...

Wow, Eric sure is fun to get to know in this one!

This has been a favorite of mine thus far in the series! As you might be able to tell from the cover art, this book features Eric as the primary man in Sookies life.Sookie has come across Eric wandering down the road without any idea who he is. She is asked to protect him at her house until the...

Wow crazy

The 4th installment is starting to get a little crazy with vampires, were-people and now witches. You'll find it even stranger with some of the supernatural beings that come out in this novel. I have to say anything is possible at this point. I love how the main focus of the plot was trying to...
