Born in Blood
I believe this was a well written theory. The author tries to present his evidence and considers some very real possibilities. While this was many centuries ago and there is no hard evidence it is surely something to consider. I enjoyed reading this and will definitely recommend to others.

A must for every Mason
I bought this book many years ago. It is very enlightening and interesting. Mr. Robinson wrote this when he was not a Mason. His original research was not even about Masonry! He became a Mason before he died. Read this. You'll enjoy it.

my two cents
I read this book long before I became a Mason, and since having been raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason, I felt this book should again be a part of my masonic library. I really enjoyed the read the first time (several years ago) and am enjoying it again. I admire Mr. Robinson's...

The Lost Secrets Are Still Lost
This book looks at the evidence to determine the beginnings and the evolution of freemasonry. It might have just as easily been titled "The Secrets of the Knights Templar." The author's theory is that the freemasons arose in England when the Knights Templar were forced underground to flee...

Robinson does his homework.
Born in blood is a wonderfull book on the beginnings of freemasons. Much older then when the first supposed lodge was opened in England in the 1700 are the roots of masons. Robinson Rightly traces it back to Scotland and the Remains of the Templars who where persecuted at the hands of French king...

Excellent Read!
I was very pleased with Mr. Robinson's book. He weaves a convincing historic tale of the Templars, from their birth, their glory, their being betrayed, and their possible founding of Freemasonry. There will never be irrefutable proof that the Templars did actually create Freemasonry, but this...

A New Foundation Myth
Born In Blood is Robinson's attempt to establish a more believable "Creation Myth" of Masonry than the previously accepted "Egyptian Origins." Robinson was educated enough to know the previous EO theory was founded upon a erroneous interpretation of Egyptian hieroglyphics (hieroglyphics not being...

GREAT BOOK
I might not agree with everything the author says or even his conclusion. However, it is a extremely interesting read and well written. This is the first book I recommend to any brother researching the Knights Templar/Freemasonry connection. What is that saying? It's a page turner!

Fascinating Look at Freemasonry's Origins
I have seen a lot of speculation as to Freemasonry's origins, but Robinson's is the first account that analyzes the ritual and symbolism associated with Masonry and attempts to find a probable explanation for it.After a brief explanation of the 1381 Peasants' Revolt and some of the more...

Unbiased Historical Journey into Freemasonry! Excellent, Must Read!!!
Excellent book! A completely unbiased look at the history of freemasonry from a non-mason. This book is one you must read if you are doing research for a paper, curious or interested in joining the fraternity. The best and only unbiased masonic book I have ever read.
