I started with the Premiere 6.5 suite some 5 years ago, moved to CS2, and now use CS3 on a Core 2 Quad machine with Vista. I do video editing as a hobby and I like that Adobe has a lot of learning resources. Help within the programs is comprehensive

PROS: Similar interface in all products, Easy to move between applications, Classroom in a book and other books offer superb learning, The new interfaces are convenient to use
CONS: Like any good tool, it takes time to learn and become familiar with what it can do, No scene dectection for HDV, Software conflicts require you to run in clean boot

They have gotten a big fat head. They market to the masses but fail to support those who lay down over a thousand bucks for their product. They have confused themselves with Microsoft and Gateway. Like I said it is a great product that has a short li

PROS: Works great lots of user input
CONS: Adobe refuses to reply to email questions, they will not support this version of CS after the next one comes out as they have stopped supporting CS2 with various updates including camera raw for Canon
