PROS: Its slightly more realistic than the original Sims because they have more character to them. They have pregnancies now and not just pop babies out, the growing up and growing old feature works more slowly than the original also.

CONS: I found that the attention to detail about life was a big vague. Would love to be able to build anything you wanted. The characters were a bit boring after a while, they didn't change to new situations. They are very static.

PROS: The Sims 2 is extremely addictive and fun. It is much better than The Sims by far as it has better graphics, it's easier to control etc.

CONS: Sometimes it's quite hard to understand how to do something, such as when you want your Sim's child in a private school. It may take a few gos to learn how to look around.
