okay, but not great
I used this to study for the recertification exam in the summer of '09. I passed the exam, but I'm not sure how much this book helped. It focused a lot of questions on certain diseases that were not on the exam, and some diseases that were hit multiple times on the exam were never mentioned in...

Limited review
Fair amount of questions for review but not as intensive as other books. Some editing errors but not intolerable.

Was hoping for better
This book came very highly recommended to me from many colleagues. As such, I had very high expectations and unfortunately these expectations were not met. I am taking the boards for the first time and can not speak to how these questions compare in regards to difficulty, but they seem a bit...

Concerned about the number of errors
I bought this to review for my 4th round of taking the boards. On the areas that I am well versed in, I have found a number of errors. I have verified these with other sources . This makes me worry about the accuracy on the topics that I need help. I have also found similar problems with...

Good board review material
I have tried board review courses, CD-ROMs and other board review books in the past. This one hits all the important subjects you'll find on the actual exam in a format very similar to the exam itself. I would recommend it and plan on using it again for future exam recertifications.

The book was good but the test bank was down
I thought that the book was a great review for the test and saw much of the material on the test. However, the test bank was down the week before my exam which was when I wanted to do the questions. That was very disappointing, but I did the test questions on the AAFP website which were both...

Decent review but could be better
I was looking for a question and answer board review book. I find that's the best way for me to study but this book was a little frustrating to go through at times because of the following reasons: 1. Inaccurate answers. Some of the inaccuracies were because of more recent recommendations that...
