PROS: Nice to have just one machine under the TV.
CONS: Difficult to program. DVD section failed after only 15 months.

I'm a technical person but the instructions are not that intuitive. I'm still trying to figure out how to schedule VHS recordings. Other than that, the picture qualtiy is very good from either VHS or DVD. I haven't had the opportunity to use the DVD
