Good video playback, but slow
I'll be the first to admit I bought this player probably expecting a bit too much out of it for the price. I bought the unit to replace my aging Denon 5 disc CD changer and a DVD player that was having problems. First, the positive attributes: Video

Plays everything without skipping or freezing - great changer
I previously owned a DVD AT-724 and Sony DVD-VCR D261P and have been disappointed with both. Both players freeze and skip when playing home DVD's (I have Tivo and transfer TV shows to my computer to burn on DVD) and sometimes even original DVD's. I

Excellent product!
I just purchased this DVD player and I could not be happier! I purchased it for the CD playing capability, rather than the DVD. The reason being that it offers support for so many different types of discs, and it is actually cheaper to buy a DVD play

Yamaha DV-C6860
I had a need for a multi-disc changer and chose this Yamaha unit as I like Yamaha and "the price was right". Hooking up the unit was a breeze but the cables supplied by Yamaha leave a lot to be desired. But this is normal of most all manufacturers.
