Serves it's purpose well
Replaced my samsung after 3 months when it died. Went with an old faithful product. The sony works better and has a better picture. Very Happy.

It does what it's suppose to.
I needed to replace my 10 year old Panasonic player that would not play DVD-RW discs. I bought this player because it has the Dolby Digital and dts Coaxial Output and through the 5.1 Analog Outputs. It works great.

Good for upgrading you DVD collection.
On the hunt for a DVD player with HDMI upgrading to hold me until the HD/BluRa wars were over. After some research this appeared to be the one. This was the third HDMI DVD player I tried. It appears to be important to match the player with your HDTV.
