"Lasted 1 year"
Clearly Sony isnt the company they used to be.. cant believe how short of a life this thing had..I hear the Pioneer/DV-F727 is a much bette unit.. still undecided as to my next move..
PROS: nice to store DVD's in one place
CONS: Slow, painful to load names, did I mention it died in 1 year.

"No durarbility"
The motor that spins the disks died after only 2.5 years of use. I expected better of a Sony product. Maybe I'll have better luck with a Pioneer.
PROS: not enough

I have had this for a couple of years now. It does what I bought it for, to hold all my DVD's. I got tired of scratched DVD's and music cd's. I know there are better ones out there now, but I am content.

CONS: BIG, BIG, remote stinks

I love my Sony 400 disc DVD player! I can let the kid's use it without worrying that the discs are going to get little finger prints on them or worse scratched. The ps2 keyboard port was a great addition; it made inputting the information about...
