PROS: Price point for features is good.
CONS: Screen is grainy and dim compared to earlier models. Nine cell battery is provided with the base system, giving good battery life but making the unit heavy.

PROS: Fast - runs about as fast as a 3.4Ghz HT P4 with 1GB ram using SuperPI at 1M setting. Nice touchpad - one of the best I have used Very quiet - even when using maximum CPU Appears to be well made, but so did the D600 and the 9100! Give it a year or so and
CONS: Dell's customer support - poor at the best of times Battery life - less than 3 hours unless you buy the better battery
